"Now Harbord Street can claim bragging rights to the title of Toronto's top restaurant row. Chef Cory Vitiello is a star example of the way good cooking is evolving in Toronto."
Gina Mallet, The National Post

"Harbord Street is emerging as a restaurant row to rival some of the best blocks in New York."
Joanne Kates, The Globe and Mail

"The Harbord Room fills quickly on weeknights, it offers smart service and breathing space between tables. The Harbord Room's pleasant vibe adds to the fun of chef Cory Vitiello's menu."
Amy Pataki, The Toronto Star

"Comfortable space, cool tunes, engaging staff and knockout grub from and up-and-coming chef with movie-star good looks. Want one more reason why The Harbord Room is the hottest bite in town? Seven nights a week after midnight it's become the de facto after-work clubhouse for downtown's restaurant crowd."
Steven Davey, Now Magazine

"He encapsulated Queen West's mood as co-creator of Czehoski; now Dave Mitton is doing the same for Harbord's foodscape, creating a sophisticated but disarmingly unpretentious hang out. The small room has a friendly air, the back patio doubles the thirty seat capacity. It's a good size for chef and partner Cory Vitiello whose small menu offers beautifully conceived temptations."
James Chatto, Toronto Life Magazine

"Everytime I feel I need inspiration, I look to Cory's Food and then know what NOT to do!"
Anthony Rose, Executive Chef The Drake Hotel

"Who's the Harbourd Room? Do they have wine glasses, or should we bring our own, cause this is really good wine!"
David Lee, Executive Chef, Nota Bene

"Tell Cory to get his f@cking ego off my steak and cook it the way I want!"
Tanya Kim (E Talk Host)

"The Harbord Room may actually feel more Queen Street than anywhere else in the area at the moment, with as many ex-pats at the tables as on the restaurant staff. Leather banquets and chairs, hanging globe lights, marble tables, tasteful eraser pink coloured walls and a long cocktail bar set the scene for serious drinking and dining."
Don Ellis, Martiniboys

"The thing I love about the Harbord Room is that it remains unpretentious. You can go there and get a great meal in your bummy jeans and a tee shirt. No one would care. The staff is friendly and inviting. Bottom line; I have eaten at Il Falconaire, a 1 Michelin Star restaurant. I would eat at The Harbord Room over Il Falconaire any day....Sufficiently stuffed with food and drink, I went home and handcuffed myself to my treadmill for 2 hours. Thank you H.R. for executing another marvelous menu!"
